Reelyrics vs LYRC
Checked October 2026 · written by Reelyrics, so read it with that in mind
The short version
LYRC and Reelyrics both transcribe your song and cut on the beat. The difference is footage: LYRC turns your clips — uploaded, extracted from video links, or picked from its stock library — into a lyric video, while Reelyrics brings curated aesthetic b-roll and picks a clip for each line itself.
Who finds the footage?
Reelyrics comes with its own curated b-roll: collections of aesthetic clips and stills with a consistent look, included on every plan. It reads your lyrics' imagery and mood, picks a collection that fits, and matches a clip to each line — so you never browse stock sites or search the internet for footage. You can still upload your own.
Your own clips, clips cut from YouTube/TikTok/Instagram links, or its stock library.

Which one is for you?
Pick LYRC if…
You already have footage, or videos you want to cut clips from.
Pick Reelyrics if…
You don't have footage and don't want to go looking for it. Reelyrics' collections give every clip a consistent aesthetic without you choosing a single shot.
Where LYRC wins
- Pulls clips out of YouTube, TikTok and Instagram links, splitting them at scene changes.
What Reelyrics doesn’t do
- Vertical short-form only. Not the tool for a full-length 16:9 YouTube lyric video.
- No free plan. The way in is $12 for ten, and those are the same Full HD, no-watermark exports every plan gets.
